"What do I get for my money?"

A few days after submitting your image - with any additional requests ("I want blue hair", etc.) - you will be sent a preview of your new Facemakr. If all is well, you will be sent a ZIP file containing: colour and monochrome versions of: a large JPEG, a large PNG (both 72 DPI), a smaller JPG and PNG & an EPS vector file for printing at 300 DPI.

"How long does it take to make my face?"

On average it takes over a week and can take upto three weeks, although an urgency upgrade exists. For the precise waiting time or any delays, follow facemakr on twitter.

"How accurate are the portraits?"

Although it’s hard to place an exact percentage of how accurate the portraits are to the photo provided, these are hand drawn and every aspect of the character is taken into account, in Facemakr’s house style.

"Your service is too cheap / expensive."

Facemakr rates are well below the market average, which is about $200 (USD). Most existing services are awful compared to Facemakr however, so it really is value for money.

"How do you ensure I like what I get?"

A real human being will evaluate your face’s character and translate that into an illustration. Every measure is taken to ensure your portrait is of the highest quality, in the house style of which plenty of examples are available. Initially you will be sent a preview of your illustration, which you may ask to be altered if not happy.

"Do you make family portraits of large families?"

Yes and Facemakr offers a discount for this type of portrait. Please enquire with your needs for a quote.

"Do you do pet portraits?"

No plans to. However, you are free to enquire about rates for standard illustrations in this style.

"I want to use my portrait for commercial purposes. (magazine etc)"

You are free to use the supplied data in any way you see fit, the rights belong to you.

"I need a full body illustration, does Facemakr provide this service?"

Yes. Facemakr also provides standard illustration. Please enquire for rates.
